# Does BUCKS support manual conversion rates?

Yes! With BUCKS, you can set **custom currency rates** to allow customers to shop based on your preferred exchange values.
### How?

To enable **manual currency conversion**, just follow the steps shown in the screenshots below for better understanding and clarity:

> ⚠️ **Note:** Manual conversion rates won’t work if **Shopify Markets' local currency checkout** is enabled also, Manual currency rates apply only to storefront prices and won't appear on the checkout page.

### Example:

Suppose your store currency is **INR**, and you want to **increase the price in AED by 45%**.

**Actual Rate:**  
1 United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) ≈ ₹23.179

To increase the AED price by 45%, calculate:

**23.179 × 45 / 100 = 10.43**  
Then subtract:  
**23.179 - 10.43 = 12.79**

So, you'll need to set the exchange rate as:  
**1 AED = ₹12.79**

This will make the **AED price 45% higher** than the original INR conversion.

### Final Tip:

This method works for **any currency**.  
If you want to **increase the price in the converted currency**, just **reduce your store's base currency value** in the manual exchange rate.
