How to convert currency on the checkout page?
We can only convert at checkout if using Shopify Payments with enabled local currency for markets.
Why do we need to enabled markets?
We'd like to let you know that, according to Shopify's policies, in order to perform currency conversions on the checkout page, you must use Shopify Payments with the local currency enabled for the market.
Don't worry, we'll share Shopify's articles regarding the checkout conversions, check the below links:-

Shopify Help – Multi-currency with Shopify Payments
Currently, third-party converter apps can’t modify the checkout page due to Shopify’s strict guidelines.
So, displaying local currency at checkout isn’t possible unless Shopify Markets and Payments are enabled.
If you enable both, the checkout will automatically convert to the customer’s local currency.
Please note that, this is not only in the case of the BUCKS app but due to Shopify’s strict guidelines, all apps are restricted from making any modifications to the checkout page.
Note: If your country is not listed among the supported countries for Shopify Payments. [ Shopify Help – Supported countries for Shopify Payments](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/payments/shopify-payments/supported-countries
Then we will share a small workaround that is we can show a cart notification banner at cart page -- This notification message will appear on the cart page to let customers know that all orders are processed in the store currency, and checkout will also be in the store currency. Check this article for more information on this https://docs.helixo.co/en/article/why-should-we-use-cart-notifications-11esld6/
Conclusion
Enable Shopify Markets and Payment → Currencies will convert all the way through checkout.
No Markets & payment enabled → Our app handles currency only up to the cart page (default Shopify behavior)
