# Why redirecting to cart after clicking add to cart button?

**Does your store redirect to cart page after clicking add to cart instead of showing the upsell?**

> If yes, that's because UFE is not able to take control over add to a cart button click.

In most cases this happens because

* Any other **installed apps taking control** over add to cart button

* Your theme is itself is **handling add to cart** action.

**What can you do about it ?**
