Common UFE Errors

Prerequisite:


There may occur several scenarios where the widget might not show on the page. You can check the possible issue by checking the ufe errors by using browser console.


Open browser console and type ufe.ufeErrors and press Enter.This will list the occured errors if any.



Check below for the error and detailed description of the issue.


ERROR

REASON

UNAVAILABLE PRODUCTS | This type of error represents some of the upsell products are unavailable on the store, that means

some of the products are in draft status, those products are not able to add into cart. |

OUT OF STOCK PRODUCTS | This type of error represents some of the upsell products are out of stock on the store. Upsells doesn't show

out of stock products because those products are not able to add into cart. |

SCHEDULED DATE DOESN’T MATCH

If the upsells having scheduled date and it doesn't match the current date then those upsells won't be visible.

UFE STORE MISSING | UFE Store is liquid file that contains some of the informations regarding the products and the money format details.

Some of the upsell functionality may not work properly without this file. |

UPSELL PRODUCTS ARE ALREADY EXISTS

Some of the upsells won't show if the upsell products are already on the cart or order, based on the option Offer products already in cart/order (widget settings -> Offer products already in cart/order)

INVALID ADD TO CART BUTTON IDENTIFIER ON THE PRODUCT PAGE

None of the add to cart button identifiers on the GLOBAL SETTINGS or WIDGET SETTINGS are valid, Please provide a valid add to cart button identifier otherwise upsell popup on the product page won't work.

INVALID CHECKOUT BUTTON IDENTIFIER

None of the CHECKOUT button identifiers on the GLOBAL SETTINGS or WIDGET SETTINGS are valid,Please provide a valid CHECKOUT button identifier otherwise it won't show discount on the CHECKOUT PAGE

TRIGGER PRODUCT MISSING

The upsell products are invalid because the associated trigger product is missing in the cart.

THE QUANTITY IS LESS THAN MINIMUM QUANTITY

Some of the upsell products having quantity lesser than the required quantity, So the discount won't be applied on the checkout page

THE QUANTITY SELECTOR IS DISABLED

The upsell quantity selector is disabled. Discount wont be applied on the checkout page if we increase or decrease the quantity

ORDER LIMIT HAS BEEN EXCEEDED

Funnels won't be shown due to the Order limit (50) has been exceeded.

DISCOUNTS WILL NOT SHOW ON THE CHECKOUT PAGE

Discounts won't show on the checkout page because the discount apply method is selected as NONE (GLOBAL SETTINGS -> ADVANCED -> DISCOUNT APPLY METHOD).
