How can I block or allow visitors from specific countries?
Country Protection allows you to control how visitors from specific countries interact with your storefront.
Country rules help you block, allow, redirect, or monitor visitors based on their location.
Create a Country Rule
- Open HUE Fraud Filter.
- Go to Fraud Protection → Countries.
- Click Add Country Rule.
- Select one or more countries.
- Choose the action you want to apply.
- Add a rule name and optional note.
- Save the rule.
Available Actions
- Block Them
Blocks visitors from the selected countries.
Visitors will see your configured blocked page.
- Always Allow Them
Always allows visitors from selected countries, even if another blocking rule exists.
Allow rules take priority over block rules.
- Send Them Somewhere Else
Redirect visitors to:
- Another Shopify store
- Regional storefront
- Information page
You can also preserve the page path during redirection.
- Just Watch for Now
Tracks matching visitors without blocking or redirecting them.
Activity logs will show what would have happened if the rule was active.
